Rosemarie studied Massage Therapy at the Swedish Institute for Massage Therapy and Acupuncture in Manhattan (now named Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences). She has over 25 years of experience providing therapeutic massage treatments for health and relaxation to her clients and has treated an array of health-related concerns, injuries, and ailments. She considers massage therapy to be a necessary part of one's health and well-being and believes in a holistic, individualized approach to revitalize the body, mind, and Spirit. Rosemarie has additional certifications in a variety of Swedish massage techniques, Five Element Shiatsu, Myofascial and deep structural release. She has advanced her massage career with several continuing education programs where she was trained in a variety of deep tissue styles, medical, prenatal massage, sports massage, neuromuscular techniques, as well as energy work. After working in various medical and spa settings in Manhattan and The Hamptons, Rosmarie started her own private practice and opened the doors to Peace Massage Therapy in beautiful Westhampton Beach.

In addition to her career in Massage Therapy, Rosemarie obtained her master’s degree from Hunter College in Manhattan in Education in Guidance & Counseling, with a specific interest in multicultural counseling. Rosemarie worked as a counselor with NYC’s homeless population and in an alternative high school in Astoria, Queens. She also studied Psychology & Anthropology at the State University College at Oneonta and did some of her undergrad work in India. At Oneonta Rosemarie also studied meditation techniques and still practices and teaches guided meditation today. She has additional studies in Ayurvedic nutrition through The National Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine, NY and has a general interest in alternative healing methods and modalities. Most recently Rosemarie obtained an Advanced Masters Certificate in Mental Health Counseling.

Rosemarie is the mother of the two “most amazing children on the planet” and is thrilled to have moved to the Auburn area to be closer to them. She is a committed therapist who is passionate about her work and helping others with her vast knowledge and skills as a therapist. We are truly blessed to have her as part of The Center’s team!
